Outside, it’s usually good to harvest plants at dawn or right after the dew evaporated.
You can directly chop off the trunk, or opt to cut each branch, depending on your strategy to hang the crop.
Take clippers and cut all the big leaves. Distinguish the big leaves without trichomes from the one having trichomes. You can compost the big leaves that have no trichome. And keep all the leaves containing trichomes. You can let them dry on a clean tray.
Avoid touching anything with the fresh cutted buds. Hang the branches in a cool (~18C°), dark and well ventilated place. If hygrometrie is high (more than 50%) check regularly for mold.
If you find some mold on your buds, don't panic, but take action ! Remove the mold gently (try not to spread the spores) and throw it far. Adding air flow is the best option you have to control mold.
